- Hears and recognizes common sounds in the surrounding and sounds of things, animals, birds, etc.
- Colouring and identification of letters A – Z
- Recognition of objects/ pictures and associating them to their uses
- Recognizing numbers and value association of numbers
- Sorting and matching different objects
- Understanding concepts like wet – dry
Age Group: 4 – 5 year old Learnings:
- Understands about cleanliness and hygiene for self and the surroundings
- Plays, interacts and helps their peers, interacts with people they know
- Can make the phonic sounds of consonants and vowels
- Makes and retells stories in 2-3 sentences
- Reads 2-3 letter words
- Writes letters, small words (2 and 3 letter words) and numbers
- Matching picture-to-picture, picture-to-word and word-to-word
- Identifies numbers 1 – 50, reverse counts 50-1, understands value association
- Understands concepts of floating and sinking, heavy and light, full and empty, etc.
- Understands about seeds and growing of plants
